New to wiki editing[edit source]

The "Federations" link under Game Concepts: Diplomacy redirects to the Federations DLC instead of to Federation, and I can't figure out how to correct that.--JabberwockySR (talk) 10:58, 18 March 2020 (UTC)

Well, that was fast!--JabberwockySR (talk) 11:21, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
I was on my break;) ~ SolSys (talk) 11:27, 18 March 2020 (UTC)

double denouncement[edit source]

There are two denouncement tabs on the page which should go or should they be merged--Galactic Ascension (talk) 15:12, 2 April 2020 (UTC)

Galactic Reforms - Missing Section/Information?[edit source]

Under the table list of resolutions should there not be the 2nd (albeit quite small) sub-category of 'Galactic Reforms' under the 'Politics and Culture' (purple) group?Furthermore, given this category seems to contain exclusively 'Galactic Council' related resolutions; should there be a specific section on this article for council related information? So far all that exists are four mentions of the council on this page- all related to actions which only they can use.. or perhaps the galactic council requires it's own page?Am new to this wiki-editing game so keen to see what anyone else thinks before making sweeping changes!Cheers! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.210.145.186 (talk) 13:15, 6 April 2020‎ (CEST)

The missing reforms section and the aforementioned duplicate denouncement section were both my fault. I was updating the denouncements section with the 2.6.1 changes when I got the "Sorry! This site is experiencing technical difficulties." error, those that used and especially edited the wiki enough times in the past weeks should be familiar with it. Anyway since I couldn't submit my edits I copied the edited denouncements section to an offline file. When the wiki recovered I went to submit my edit but accidentally replaced the reforms section instead of the old denouncements section. Someone quickly noticed and fixed the duplicate section but didn't know about the removed section. I fixed it as soon as I noticed. Really sorry everyone, I'm the one who created the page and all sections and yet I couldn't care for it well enough. Kami-sama (talk) 21:03, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

AI weights for Divinity of Life aren't the same for every level[edit source]

The current weight modifiers are only accurate for the first level of Divinity of Life. All the others are different, with levels 2 through 4 having the same weights and 5 only adding minor changes related to rogue servitors really loving it. How should this be reflected in the table? Just include the values for levels 2 through 4, with a noting mentioning that 1 and 5 are different? Adding a separate entry for level 1? Nonmomentus (talk) 18:14, 11 June 2020 (UTC)

It's now in separate entries. Dazz (talk) 12:40, 13 June 2020 (UTC)

Castigation Denouncement listed on wrong tier.[edit source]

The Castigation Denouncement is enabled by the fourth Mutual Defense resolution, not the fifth. Could someone who knows how to edit the tables place it in the correct order?

Took care of it:) Kami-sama (talk) 20:53, 5 June 2021 (UTC)

Says current for 3.4 but it has something that only makes sense on previous versions[edit source]

The administrative capacity malus on sanctions makes no sense now that this is not how it works. Does it reduce max empire size now or what?

Part of the work to update for 3.4 mistakenly included content from earlier versions. I've since redone some sections, but haven't yet fixed the main resolutions section. If you look at the source, you'll see I included some parts of the version prior to the 3.4 update as a comment in preparation for further rework, too. --CaesarVincens (talk) 23:47, 18 May 2022 (UTC)

Resolutions list still missing part of Suzerains and Sovereignty category[edit source]

Currently, only Intergalactic Directives is listed on the page under List of Resolutions. The Bureaucratic Surveillance resolutions - Administrative Insight, Borderless Authority, and Personal Oversight - are still missing.

Please delete this comment once the resolutions have been added to the list. --Gigabytemon (talk) 10:20, 02 June 2022 (UTC)

They're actually mentioned, just in a separate section because they can only be proposed by empires with at least one subject. Also I don't think anyone is allowed to delete talk page content. Kami-sama (talk) 19:42, 2 June 2022 (UTC)

Machine and hivemind empires get different names when forming the galactic imperium[edit source]

I haven't tested it in a while but when formed as a machine empire the galactic imperium should be named "Imperial Nexus" or something like that. I think it should be mentioned.

That's just how the empire that forms it gets renamed (and can change the name back if it wants). In the rest of the UI including the community/imperium tab it's still called Galactic Imperium. Kami-sama (talk) 06:45, 28 November 2022 (UTC)

Designing GDF ships[edit source]

The section on the Custodian says "The custodian can design and build upkeep-free ships for the Galactic Defense Force". However, I don't see how to design them; they seem to only auto-design. The ship designer only lists the regular non-GDF ship types. This is a pain, for two reasons.

First, I find the auto-designs are heavy on artifact components, whether or not you have plenty of artifacts, and whether or not the artifact version is worth it. I would like to be able to design versions that don't use artifacts when I am low.

Second, the GDF fleets seem to always say they need to be upgraded. I have created a brand new GDF ship, only to immediately be told it needs upgrading. Upon upgrading, it still says it needs upgrading. And again. And these are expensive upgrades, not a tweak of one component. Perhaps the system is constantly tweaking the designs. I would prefer to control designs myself, so I can decide when it is worth upgrading and to what.

If designing GDF ships is not intended, delete "design and" from that statement. Otherwise, tell me how. The Ship designer page doesn't mention GDF.

Willcrimson (talk) 00:09, 22 June 2023 (UTC)

The button to open the GDF ship designer is in the galactic community tab in the upper-right corner. Same for the galactic imperium armada. Kami-sama (talk) 14:21, 22 June 2023 (UTC)

Denounce First Fallen Empire description is wrong[edit source]

It does not ban being a subject of the first AE it bans NOT being a subject of the second. This is true for the reverse as well.Noticed this in a recent playthrough and also checked the vanilla files. No clue how long this has been the case.--217.244.78.72 15:49, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
